IMPORTANT NOTICE | BANKSTOWN ASSOCIATION COVID-19 NOTICE

Last updated 06 August 2020 !

THIS WEEKS WEATHER FORECAST
This week's weather forecast is predicting rain. If the weather does not allow for players to line up outside, we ask the following (however, I will send out updates as needed):

Friday: Please ensure that players, along with their 1 x spectator, arrive no earlier than 5 Minutes before their game. Any players who do not need to show ID and arrive any earlier than 5 minutes will be asked to go and wait in their car. Players will be directed to their court, however, will not be able to go to the benches until cleaning has concluded.
Due to there being no undercover section available for teams to line up on a Friday, we ask that teams please be mindful to leave the stadium as soon as their game concludes, to assist staff with a smooth transition.
Saturday: Players are able to arrive 10 minutes before their game with there 1 x spectator, and will be lined up on Courts 1 & 2 until directed to their courts by supervisors.
In order to avoid crowding at the entrance, we ask that all spectators send the message prior to arriving at the stadium. It must be done on the day of competition, and both messages (sent and received) will need to be on the screen ready to show the BSO Officer.
As per last week. We ask that all players are dressed in their playing gear and ready to take the court.
We ask that you please be mindful in terms of your well-being. If you feel un-well or have been in contact with a COVID-19 case or to any of the noted hotspot locations, please do not attend our stadium.
Please continue to monitor NSW Health for updated on confirmed case locations - https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates#latest-covid-19-case-locations-in-nsw

Once again, I would like to Re-enforce that all other guidelines are still in place. However, I would like to highlight some important areas that are being neglected in some instances.
1 /       Entrance to the stadium will be via the front door. Please ensure that all players respect this requirement and do not enter via the exit doors. There will be a supervisor situated at the exit door, as per council guidelines, anyone caught entering the stadium through the exit door will be evicted from the stadium for the night. They will not be able to play or spectate if they enter through any door other than the entry door (main entrance).
2/       At the conclusion of the games, players, coaches and spectators will be asked to leave the venue.
Friday Junior Competition - All to exit via the exit door on court one (Lair End).
Saturday Competition - (when Senior Reps are here - exit via the exit door on court 3).
3/         IF A PLAYER IS UNDER THE AGE OF 18, THEY ARE PERMITTED TO BRING ONE SPECTATOR. Spectators will need to enter the venue with their child.
We are restricted to the amount of people we can have in the venue at any one time NO ADDITIONAL SPECTAORS WILL BE PERMITTED, THIS INCLUDES SIBLINGS
4/         2 persons ONLY on the score bench at all times [social distancing]. Please ensure that there are no additional members on the Scorebench or beside the Scorebench. As per Basketball NSW guidelines, it is not compulsory, however, recommended that those members doing Scorebench wear a mask.
5/         Team benches are allocated for players and 1 x coach only. All other members associated with the team, will need to be seated on the spectator seats provided.
All persons entering the stadium, who are not listed on the scoresheet will be required to register via SMS. Please note the SMS must be sent on the day. If your child plays on Friday and Saturday, you will be required to register via SMS on both days.
SMS 0459 600 600 with the code word RTX followed by your full name and email address prior to entry.

There will also be 1 x BSO officer at the santiser station. Each person entering the stadium will be required to santise.
Thank you for your help and understanding during this time.

Kind Regards,
