THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES ARE DEVELOPED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NSW GOVERNMENT AND BASKETBALL NSW WITH THE PRIMARY INTENTION OF LIMITING THE CHANCES OF PERSON-TO-PERSON TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19.

BBA will continue to monitor the easing of government restrictions and will make appropriate alterations as required, in line with the advice from the government at the time.

If you have visited Victoria or a NSW hotspot https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates you should follow NSW Health directions.
REMINDER: YOU MUST STAY AT HOME IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL.
DESIGNATED ENTRY & EXIT BBA
BBA will require all participants, spectators, officials, and staff to enter through the main entrance where they will be required to sanitise before progressing through the stadium. After participants and officials have finished their game or activity, staff will guide them to the exit door at the end of Court 1 (Lair End). As per council guidelines, anyone caught entering the stadium through the exit door will be evicted from the stadium for the night. They will not be able to play or spectate if they enter through any door other than the entry door (main entrance).
SPECTATORS
Junior Competitions: Each team will be eligible to have 1 x coach and then 1 x spectator per child ONLY. It is preferred that this spectator be over the age of 16.
Senior Competitions: Each team will be eligible to bring 1 x Spectator per team.

Spectators, Club Delegates and Coaches will be required to register via text.

All spectators will be greeted at the front and marked off by the BBA BSO officer before being allowed into the stadium.
Spectators must practice social distancing where possible.
2 persons ONLY on the score bench at all times (social distancing).
  • At the conclusion of all games, everyone in the stadium will be required to vacate the venue at the end of each timeslot. Once empty, players for the next timeslot will be let in along with their coaches, followed by their parents and playing siblings only. Playing siblings must remain seated at all times next to their parents. Unfortunately, until we are able to better manage the spectator seating available, this means that if your sibling is not playing in the timeslot directly after you, you will all have to vacate and will not be able to come into the stadium again until their scheduled game.
SANITISATION
Hand sanitiser will be provided upon entry and exit as well as at each score bench. Wipes will also be provided on each score bench.
BIOSAFETY OFFICIALS
All BBA staff are trained as biosafety officials and will manage the restrictions enforced by the government and the association. BBA will also have Bio Safety officers at the entrance of the stadium.
